Create a new record

The rule of thumb is to create a new record for each building with its own address.

You can create as many records as you like, free of charge.

Choose the correct type of record and give it a name

Every building is different. Therefore, choose the right type of record based on the primary function of your building. Give it a logical name to easily find it in your list of buildings.

Enter your building data

To correctly calculate your consumption profile, you must provide some basic data.

  • Choose the country and enter the postal code, then select the appropriate municipality.
  • You can optionally add the street and nr..
  • Click Next.
  • Choose the dwelling type (for dwellings) or the primary function (others)
  • Indicate how many family members there are (for dwellings) or additionally describe the site with some tags (others).
  • Indicate for central heating, auxiliary heating, hot water and cooking which power source you use.
  • Click Next.

Grid connections

  • Indicate which grid connections are present in your home or building.
  • Click Next.

Tip: Choose the type of meterreading on your electricity meter, not the tariff structure of your supplier. For example, do you have a day and night counter, but your supplier only applies a simple rate, then choose Electricity (day / night)

Additional meters

  • Select wich additional meters you would like to follow up.
  • Click Finish.

Remark: After finishing this wizard, you can always create additional meters using the 'meters' section in your record.

Add additional information

Once your record has been created, you can add additional information about your home or building.

  • Open your record.
  • Click on the Properties icon to display the properties of your house or building.
  • Fill in the additional information.
  • Click Save.

Tip: To compare your consumption with similar profiles, fill in the field Floor area.

First steps after creating a record

  • After creating a record, go immediately to your meters and fill in a first meter reading for each. Then you're started! You can do it easily by smartphone or you can import a file with several meter readings at once.
  • Read the article Meters beheren and discover wich other types of meters you can add to your record.
